Vitiligo Pigmentation Cream & Vitamins

Vitiligo Treatment – Vitiligo is a genetic and autoimmune skin disorder. Vitiligo causes the skin loses its natural colour. The lose of colour is due to lack of pigmentation.

Vitiligo can develop from any age, but is more prevalent in the 17 – 45 year age groups. People suffering with the Vitiligo condition develop white and irregularly shaped patches on different areas of the body. Normally it is first discovered on the face, hands, thighs, or chest area.

In some cases Vitiligo can change the colour of the hair. Vitiligo also causes white spots or patches to appear inside the mouth or on the inner lip area.

The illustration above depicts Vitiligo on the hand. The destroyed or lack of melanocytes have stopped producing melanin, the natural skin pigment of your skin, giving rise to the white patches on the skin.

Types and causes of Vitiligo

Depending on the locations of patches on the body, Vitiligo can be divided into three main categories:

Generalized Vitiligo, in which patches appear on many parts of the skin.

Segmental Vitiligo, where patches appear only on one side of the body.

Localized Vitiligo, in which patches appear on a confined skin area.

One of the causes of Vitiligo is when body’s immune system attacks melanocytes. The melanocytes are the cells that produce melanin, the darker pigment responsible for your skin colour and tone.

Vitiligo may co-occur with other autoimmune disorders, such as hypo- or hyper-thyroidism, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis. Other triggering factors include allergies, stress, sunburn, and industrial chemicals.

Vitiligo is known to be genetically transmitted. Studies have identified that NALP1, a protein coding gene that encodes a protein related to apoptosis, plays an important role in developing Vitiligo. However, despite having a genetic linkage, only 5-7% of children are likely to get Vitiligo even if one of their parents has the condition.

Vitiligo is neither contagious nor life-threatening. However, the condition is often very stressful, and this stress and trauma does contribute to the further spread of the Vitiligo.

Vitilox Pigmentation Cream

Treatment

At Vitiligo Treatment we do offer our Vitilox Vitamins B12 & Folic Acid to both reduce your stress levels, and also combat the spread of Vitiligo. These Vitamins play a vital role in treating your Vitiligo as they strengthen your immune system and contains the further spread of the condition whilst treatment is underway.

Vitamin B12 inhibits the production of homo-cysteine, a homologue of amino acid cysteine. Homo-cysteine down-regulates the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme responsible for melanin production, as well as generates free radicals, leading to impaired melanin synthesis and destruction of melanocytes. In this whole process, folic acid works in tandem with vitamin B12 as a methyl group donor.

In most of the cases the time required to obtain and restore your natural skin tone or colour does vary from one person to another. Pigmentation was seen within 2 weeks of using Vitilox products and full skin tone was restored in under 6 weeks. Feel free to visit this case study by clicking the link (pic) below:
